Whitewood Cider - Gibbs Farm (500 mL)
Whitewood Cider - Gibbs Farm (500 mL)
Whitewood Cider's Gibbs Farm is an off-dry cider made from a blend of Jonathan, McIntosh, Winesap, Stayman Winesap, Northern Spy and Yarlington Mill apples. Tree ripened and hand picked by Northwest organic agriculture pioneer Grant Gibbs on his homestead farm. Notes of fresh apple, green grape, and ripe mandarin. A favorite annual release of ours from the good folks at Whitewood.
Why we love Whitewood: Whitewood Cidery is a small-batch cidery based in Olympia, Washington - about an hour south of Seattle, near the southernmost point of the Puget Sound. Founded by partners Dave White and Heather Ringwood, Whitewood makes an impressive range of small-batch ciders every year. Their Tiny Taproom in Olympia is high on our favorite tasting rooms to visit. Their ciders are all made from fruit thoughtfully sourced throughout Southwest Washington and the Hood River, Oregon area. They have a range of offerings including fun Single-Varietal ciders, well balanced blends, and seasonal flavored ciders - all of which are crowd pleasers. Some of the best cider you can find in 500 mL bottles.
