Yarlington Mill is a traditional English cider apple with silky and soft tannin and a dark fruit character, reminiscent of dried apricot crossed with cocoa nibs. It is both smooth and substantial. 85% Yarlington Mill, 10% Bramley Seedling, 5% Brown's Apple apples grown at Ringsrud Orchard in Washington and Idyll Acres in Oregon.
This cider was bottled in 2022 with fruit harvested in the 2021 growing season. Bursting aromas of butterscotch and aroma. This cider is semi-dry, though the sparkle cuts through the very light bit of sweetness. Balanced tannins, acid, and fruitiness with flavor notes of bruised bittersweet apple, dried apricots, cocao nibs, ripe guava, and lemon zest. Mildly bitter tannins.
