Bauman's Cider - 9th Anniversary Cider (16 oz)

Bauman's Cider - 9th Anniversary Cider (16 oz)
Bauman's 9th Anniversary cider is a dry cider made with the newly released Ludacrisp apple. This punchy and tropical cider is one of our favorite recent canned cider releases, and is every bit a celebration worthy cider.
The Ludacrisp apple originated in the Midwest (Ohio), is a descendant of the Honeycrisp apple, and has only recently been commercially available. This is our first taste of a cider featuring this apple, and based on how tasty this is we are certain it won't be the last.
Tasting Notes: Dry cider (edging on Semi-Dry) with medium-plus acidity and medium-minus tannins that are soft and slight. Tropical notes galore, plus hints of lemon zest. Nice acidity and fresh apple notes carry the palate.
Congrats to 9 Years to Christine Walter and the entire team at Bauman's - one of the best American cidermakers.
Why we love Bauman's Cider: Bauman's Cider is an award winning cidery based in Oregon's Willamette Valley, just south of Portland. Christine Walter is a fifth-generation farmer and the head cidermaker at Bauman's. Bauman's Farm in Gervais, Oregon was originally homesteaded by her Great-Great-Grandmother Elizabeth and her sons Stephen and Leo in 1895. In the early 1900’s, Stephen began making cider on the farm for family and friends alike to enjoy. Upon learning of her family's history of making cider, and armed with a degree in biochemistry, Christine has revived her Great-Grandpa Stephen’s legacy by blending modern cidermaking with heritage methods using fruit grown and harvested on their own farm, and in partnership with other orchardists in the region.
The fruit grown in the Willamette Valley is highly regarded and makes for some excellent cider. Bauman's Cider includes four distinct product lines that range from juicy and modern, to traditional and nuanced. Whether you prefer traditional ciders or modern, flavored ciders, Bauman's Cider truly has something for everyone! Their traditional ciders are amongst some of our favorite American ciders, and include a series of single-varietal ciders and artfully crafted blends. Bauman's recently opened tasting room in Portland, Oregon - Bauman's On Oak - is one of the finest cider & dining experiences anywhere in the U.S. We're pleased to offer a wide variety of Bauman's Ciders and make them available for cider fans to have them shipped across the country.
